Ueli Wyss studied agronomy at ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland). He has been working for more than 30 years at Agroscope in Posieux, Switzerland. His main research topic is forage conservation, silage and hay making. He is a member of the two DLG commissions: DLG commission for ensiling agents and DLG commission for forage and substrate conservation. Together with Thomas Pauly, he will give a presentation on the methodology of ensiling trials and effects of silage additives.
