Bärbel Kroschewski is a senior scientist and lecturer for Biometry and Experimental Design at the Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. She obtained her degree (Diplom) in Agriculture (Crop Science) at the Humboldt University in 1985 and afterwards in 1988, she graduated (Dr. agr.) in Biometry. She is a member of several societies, like the German Region of the International Biometric Society (IBS) of which she was Deputy Spokesperson (2011-2014). From 2014 to 2017, she was Spokesperson of the IBS German working group "Experimental Methods in Agriculture". She conducts research on biometry in agriculture, statistics, methodology of experimentation and experimental design with main focus on field experiments/long-term experiments. Dr. Kroschewski will give a lecture on statistics and experimental design in silage research.
