Sasha Hafner is an Associate Professor of Biological Engineering at Aarhus University in Denmark. His research focuses on air pollution from agricultural systems and production of biogas from organic wastes. In addition to lab and field experiments, he uses modeling and software development to understand underlying processes and facilitate decision making. He started working on emission of volatile organic compounds from silage in 2009 and has conducted research on measurement, modeling and mitigation. Dr. Hafner will give a lecture on volatile organic compounds and silage with focus on sources, emission and mitigation.
