Enno Bahrs is Professor for Farm Management at the University of Hohenheim, Stuttgart, Germany. Before he started that position in 2008, he worked as Professor for Sustainable Economic Development in Agriculture at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria and as an Assistant Professor for Farm Management, Georg-August University, Göttingen, Germany. He is member of several scientific boards and committees, like the "Scientific Advisory Board on Biodiversity and Genetic Resources" at the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, the "Steering Committee of the Bioeconomy Research Program Baden-Württemberg" and Chair/Spokesperson of the Research Area "Biogas". He is also member of the Editor Board of the German "Journal of Agricultural Economics" and the Appraiser Board at the "Professional Association of Farm Accountancy Offices and Appraisers in Germany". Prof. Bahrs will give a lecture on the economical evaluation of silages.
