Karl Schedle is a scientist and farmer. His research at University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU) focuses on monogastric animal nutrition/physiology and feedstuff science. He obtained his degree (Diplom) in Agriculture (Livestock Science) in 2004 at BOKU, where he graduated (Dr. nat. techn.) in 2007 in the field of animal nutrition. Karl Schedle started working on "Sustainable pig and poultry nutrition" during his PhD and intensified this research topic as postdoc. He integrated most of these research works in his thesis for Venia Docendi. Karl Schedle is member of several scientific communities and professional societies like the Society of Nutrition Physiology, the German Society for Minerals and Trace Elements or the World's Poultry Science Association. From March 2013 to September 2015 he acted as task force leader at the Christian-Doppler Research Laboratory for Innovative Bran Biorefinery "CEREVAL". Karl Schedle will give a lecture about fermentation of feed in monogastric animal nutrition.
